“It is something I will never forget.”

My mother, Pauline McMahon, passed away recently at 101 years old. I was so happy to finally find Skyview Gardens in Poway for her in her late 90’s as her previous facility proved less than satisfactory. She had many needs and the staff at Skyview Gardens always did their absolute best to meet them in a cheerful and loving way. Felicity and Terry were always ready to respond positively to any issues that arose. It was so touching to observe the staff respond to my mother’s final days and hours with sincere care and love for her. One of the last things my mother said to Felicity was, “I know I complain a lot, but I also know that the staff here all love me.”   It is something I will never forget.

“..that extra element of connection and loving kindness.

Thank you for the loving care that you provided for our Father in his final days. It was a difficult decision to leave his house after 62 years and depend on others at nearly 94 years old.

There are many good care facilities that meet all of the needs of their residents.  The difference we experienced at The Views with our Dad was that extra element of connection and loving kindness. We have recommended The Views in Poway to several people with full confidence they would be pleased with the care, concern, and love that their loved one would receive.  Thank you from our whole family for taking care of our Dad in a difficult time of life. You made a difference for him and for all of us.

"Skyview Gardens treated her with more than dignity, they treated her with love."

"Skyview Gardens provides excellent care. The owners and all the staff are compassionate caregivers and the building is beautiful. My aunt stayed there for the last year of her life. She went from being mostly independent to needing 24/7 care as her illness progressed. Skyview Gardens manages to meet the individual preferences and needs of each resident, which can’t be easy, although they make it seem effortless. The transition into group living is difficult for any older adult, especially ones with the extra burden of illness, but the administrators and every staff member are warm, welcoming and accommodating creating an atmosphere where the residents made friends easily. My aunt’s illness took away her quality of life and made little things like eating and bathing impossible for her to do on her own, the owners and staff at Skyview Gardens treated her with more than dignity, they treated her with love. My family will also be grateful to them. They are the best." — Barbara L., GOOGLE
